comfortable

I purchased these in white, just wanting to see how the platform /wedge was (thinking)uncomfortable. As soon as they arrived I tried them out walking around the house and they felt great. I ordered my reg size (8) and they are true to size, not wide and plenty of toe room at top(no hang over-yuk!)They are very comfortable, needs NO break in, and will go with lots. Can’t wait for the weather to finally warm up to wear these!

Comfort and Class

I really wanted a sandal like this, but until I saw this style I had stayed away from considering purchasing something with this high a heel. This sandal is super comfortable and I like the way it looks. The price was a little more than I had thought I wanted to spend, but the quality and comfort of the shoe made it a very good purchase.

I train a good deal of women clients, and if there is one thing I have learned, women like to have toned inner thighs! It is a problem area for most women. The muscles of the inner thighs, also called the hip adductors, respond to a very specific exercise routine. It takes in regards to 15 minutes of exercise three times a week to shape the inner thighs. All you need is an exercise mat to get stared. Try these exercises for a few weeks and you will feel more leg power when you walk, run, or swim. After in regards to ten weeks, you will see new definition in your thighs.

Outer Thigh Lift.

Lie on your left side, and prop your upper body closely upright on your left forearm. With your left leg bent comfortably, extend your right leg at a 45-degree angle in front of you. Slowly raise the right foot with regards to six inches off the floor in a controlled motion. Hold for one count, then tardily lower the foot closely to the floor; start out another lift without touching down. Do 10 reps. Then roil onto your right side and repeat. Do 3 sets with each leg. 3 sets of 10 repetitions each is a good starting point. When the routine begins to feel easy in in regards to 3-4 weeks, add a one pound ankle weight.

Inner Thigh Firmer.

Lie on your left side with your head resting on a rolled-up towel to maintain proper alignment of your head, shoulders, and hips. Bend your right leg and rest it on the floor in front of you while extending your left leg straight with the foot. Slowly lift your left leg with regards to six inches. Hold for a moment and then gradually lower the leg, beginning the next lift before your foot touches back down on the floor. After ten lifts, roll onto your right side and repeat. Complete 2 sets of 10 lifts with each leg. 2 sets of 10 repetitions each is a good starting point.

Cable Adductor Machine

This is the machine in the gym that most women gravitate towards! It’s the one where you sit with your back pressed into the machine, keeping onto any handles and with your legs and feet pressed versus the foam pads. Smoothly fetch your legs together, hold for a second then return beneath control to starting position. Some machines will have a combining of settings, permitting the legs to be taken wider, refrain from taking your legs out too far, specially for beginners. Aim to keep your legs and back in contact with the machine at all times. It may be utile to warm up your muscles with a lightweight prior to your training weight, as this will not only support prevent injury, but also make sure that the machine is set-up comfortably for you.

Inner Thigh Firmer Using a Stability Ball or Pillow.

Lie on your back on the floor and place a little Swiss Ball or huge pillow centrally among your lower legs. Smoothly squeeze the ball or pillow, aiming to utilize pressure from both legs, onto the sides of the ball. Hold in the inner phase for 2 – 3 seconds prior to freeing and repeating again. Repeat 10 times. This exercise is normally performed while lying, but may likewise be performed seated or standing. Complete 2 sets of 10 repetitions. 2 sets of 10 repetitions is a good starting point.

How Much Exercise Is Enough To Tone The Inner Thighs?

This number guide will help you determine what intensity is right for you.

Let’s say that the intensity of the exercise ranges from 1 to 5.

1 – Light exercise, may hardly feel the muscle. (this is what you feel in the primary 1-3 repetitions)

2 – You may feel the hip muscles working (as you do more repetitions, you become more conscious of the tension in the muscles)

3 – Moderate intensity, where you commence feel a ‘burn’ or ‘strain’ in the muscle. You have to exert a little to maintain the exercise.

4 – Moderate to high intensity, where your hip muscle starts to hurt, and you feel like stopping.

5 – High intensity, where you just can’t continue. You need to stop and take a break.

In order to tone the thighs, you need to push to an intensity that falls amongst 3 and 4. This will vary from person to person. For some individuals, 10 repetitions of an exercise is sufficient to get to 3, or even 4. This is specially mutual for beginners, or for those who have resumed exercise after a long break. For other, more conditioned individuals, it is mutual to get to 3 or 4 after 30-40 repetitions, or after using ankle weights.

You NEED these shoes!

I bought these for work, I am a nursing supervisor. I thought, if I am doing all this walking, I might as well get some extra benefit, right? Well, I had no idea how comfortable these would be. They take a little getting used to, but after a few days, it’s like gliding on air. I have bunions on both feet, and any time I walk at a fast pace, they were hurting. My mom had the surgery for this, and I was thinking I would need to be having it myself soon. In these shoes, I can do all the brisk walking I want and my bunions do not hurt one bit. Also, I have been wearing these for a month and there is a noticeable difference in the way my legs and behind look and feel. The biggest difference is in the calf area, my calves are literally rock hard now. You don’t think they are giving you a toning benefit while you are wearing them, but when you take them off, your legs and behind are sore like you were working out. If you are on the fence about buying these- they are worth every penny! They are true to size for me, usually wearing a 9 and taking a 9 in these also. I love them so much that I bought the Mary Janes and I bought my husband a pair, he loves them also.

Best $100 ever spent

I have back problems from a ruptured disc that affected my sciatic nerve and the piriformis muscle on my left side, both of which have caused severe pain and problems walking and going up stairs. Physical therapy and cortisone shots helped, but I still have pain in my left hip constantly. After buying and wearing these shoes, I have a noticeable change for the better. The prirformis pain, which goes across the left of the backside is definitely better and going up stairs has improved. If you have ANY of these back problems, get these shoes and WEAR them. Don’t worry about the looks, just wear them for a week–the change will be noticeable and you won’t care about how they look! I bought the Mary Jane’s for work and love them–you will too.

MBT Tunisha Casual Mary Jane

I love the dressy look of my new MBT’s. I’d read here (and on the site where I ordered) that they are running 1/2 size smaller and that I should order 1/2 size larger than my norm. I printed the foot sizing chart and ordered the 1/2 size larger but when they arrived (and they arrived quickly) they were just a tad large. I ruminated about what to do but decided to return them for the 8′s and I’m so glad I did. They fit great and function the same as my MBT sandals in terms of ‘the walk’. It’s GREAT to be able to wear dressier clothes with them! Hope the company continues to upgrade and update their styles so the whole line becomes more contemporary and attractive. MBT’s have resolved my foot issues (I’m a therapist on my feet all workday) and I’m very grateful.

MBT Transformation

I’m on my feet at work all day, and need comfortable shoes. They also have to be BLACK- I didn’t want to spend $249 for the black Tunishas, so I bought the Grape color for $119, purchased shoe cleaner and black dye from a shoe repair shop for $12, and now, with a little work on my part, have a perfect pair of black MBTs for half the cost. One shoe was a little snug, so I filled a baggie 1/4 full with water, put it in the toe of the shoe, and froze it in the freezer overnight. The water expanded to ice, stretched the shoe, and now it’s perfect. They do however run big on the heel, but a silicon heel cushion fixed that. I’ve worn them for a week now, and I do recommend this shoe- balancing on the arch helps when you have to stand for long periods of time, and they’re comfortable to walk in. Buy 1 size larger, they run short.

Doesn’t have the same rocker action

I purchased the MBT Tunisha as well as the MBT Kaya (both mary jane styles) and I can definitely say that the Tunisha falls short. It does not feel like it has the same rocker action as the Kaya. In addition, the sole did not feel as cushioned. When wearing the Tunishas, my heels kept slipping up and down as I walked. I can imagine that I would develop blisters with that constant friction. I also suspect that the buckle might not keep the shoes in place as well as velcro or laces. I tried two different sizes in the Tunishas and they both had the same problem with the heel slipping. I didn’t experience this at all with the Kaya. The Tunisha style is cute and certainly appropriate for work situations, but I didn’t feel that the physiological advantage of wearing MBTs was noticeable with the Tunisha. Try the Kaya instead.

If you’re suffering from back pain or lower back pain or pain in the ankles, knees or hips you may be marveling if your shoes are causing it. This is a mutual question and supposedly easy problem to solve if the shoes you’re wearing are causing your pain and you need instant pain relief.

While there haven’t been any studies that prove that any specific brand of shoes may relieve or reduce ankle, knee, hip or back pain, a great deal of pain sufferers report that sure shoes have stopped the pain. Some people have reported that Easy Spirit’s, Rockport’s, Croc’s and sure brands of tennis shoes have relieved their pain and on occasion given them instant pain relief. Sometimes persons likewise have foot pain, which may be a clue that shoes are causing your problem if you have ankle, knee, hip or back pain along with it.

But of course, the best way to find out is to determine the cause of your pain. For example, if your back pain is caused by one leg being shorter than the other, than a shoe lift may be the answer. If it’s from sitting too long in one position without good lumbar aid than an ergonomic chair may help.

If all other causes have been annihilated or you likewise have foot pain or suspect your shoes are the culprit, then the following tips may aid you get ankle, knee, hip or back pain relief.

If your shoes aren’t fitting right, you will not walk correctly. Your stride will be off and you may get back pain or pain in the ankle, knee or hip or a combination.

Go buying goods or buy your shoes at the end of the day or if you exercise, buy them at the time you ordinarily exercise. Excess liquid goes to your feet due to gravity and they will be the biggest at the end of the day.

Foot sizes do change. Ask to have both feet measured, both the length and width. Fit the shoes by the greatest of the two feet. You want to have a half inch from the end of your huge toe to the front edge of the shoe. Fan your toes out so you know you have a lot of room. Choose a wide toe-bed. Shoes are commonly fitted with a bed that’s too narrow. If you use orthotics, fetch them with you and insert into the shoes.

Make sure to wear the socks you would commonly wear with the shoe. If you have foot troubles such as blisters, bunions, hammertoes, high arches or flat feet, make sure to talk about shoes with your podiatrist before shoe buying goods and get fit in a store that specializes in fitting shoes or an arch aid store.

If you are buying women’s shoes undertake to buy flats and forego the heels. If you have to have a heel try to keep it to one inch. If you need to wear a high heel shoe do it on a particular occasion not for each and everyday wear. Make sure to walk around the shoe store long sufficient to get a good feel for the shoes. Bend your feet and make sure the shoe feels flexible and very comfortable. Do not believe anybody who says you may “break-in” the shoe. It must feel comfortable in the store or it won’t out of the store.

You may find buying the best shoes for your feet may relieve your ankle, knee, hip, foot or pain. Take the time to be fitted decently and buy the best shoe for you. There are a good deal of other things you may do to relieve pain without pain medications. Always seek substitute and natural treatments, tricks, methods, therapies and little known pain relief mysteries for your pain whenever possible. Many have done it before you.

Very Good Walking Shoe But Could Use More Cushioning

I found these to be a very good walking shoe. I am fairly big guy and would have liked a little more cushioning in the sole, but that was easily remedied with a new insole. I deducted one star due to the cushioning issue, but if you weigh under 200 lbs, that may not be an issue for you. The shoes certainly seem sturdy and are reasonably attractive. Shipping was very prompt. Reliably good Amazon product and service.

I think they will be good shoes

They are a good fit, size and width were true. They are good looking shoes and lightweight. However, some of the seams are a little sharp and dig into my ankles, have to wear thick socks! I think that this may be improving as they break in.

Best Slippers Ever

I bought my first pair of these Minnetonka sheepskin moccasin slippers a couple months ago, and I just can’t say enough good things about them. I totally love them! I’ve worn Minnetonka soft sole moccasins all my life and I’ve loved every pair I’ve ever had, but this pair is far and away the most comfortable. The sheepskin lining is amazingly soft, cushy & warm, but it breathes extremely well, so it never makes my feet hot or sweaty. The soles, although soft, seem to be incredibly tough from what I’ve experienced. I love these slippers so much that I literally wear them everywhere — in fact, they’ve become my favorite shopping shoes — and in my outings with them I’ve found that the soles are surprisingly resistant to scuffing and staining, probably moreso than any other soft sole mocs I’ve ever owned. I never wear them in wet weather, as I’m sure they’d soak up water like a sponge, but I do wear them in all other kinds of weather and they hold up just great. I wore them to Christmas shop this past weekend — it was only around 29 degrees outside that day, but walking around outside in them (and sockless, yet!) posed no problem whatsoever. Of course, it goes without saying that they make excellent house slippers, too, and I definitely wear mine for that purpose as well. I can’t recommend these slippers highly enough — they’re super comfy, durable and great-looking, and considering the top-quality materials and workmanship that goes into them, the price is pretty reasonable, too. What more could you ask for?

the orange finish isn’t sturdy

These sunglasses are good looking, fit fine, and work well for me while mountain biking. But the interchangable lenses, of which there are 3, can chip the frame finish when you swap them in or out. I bought the orange pair. I’m not a total klutz about stuff like this. But I managed to chip the frame finish while changing a lense only the second time.
